The second week of the Brighton Racecourse Covid Vaccination Centre is fully underway. Adam Doyle came to visit to see all of the hard work that’s been going on. Here’s what he had to say…
“This is a great collaboration”
“I’ve had the great opportunity today to visit the Brighton Racecourse to see the excellent work at the vaccination centre here. This is a great collaboration between our Clinical Commissioning Groups, Here, Sussex Community Foundation Trust, but also General Practice and all the 5 Primary Care Networks that have worked so hard to get this up and running.
“Thank you to all of those people for their hard work, I really appreciate it. So far, the team here have got through just over 1,500 vaccinations of the first dose. And I know they plan to ramp that up really, really quickly over the coming days.”
“Thank you for sticking with all of the guidance”
“To our communities, thank you for sticking with all of the government guidance about keeping yourself socially distanced, following all of the key messages that we have been asking you to follow. We’ll all get through this quickly, and we’re going to work really hard to make sure as many people are vaccinated as quickly as they possibly can be.
“Thank you for your ongoing patience. Thank you for your hard work. Best wishes, take care.”
