This is Kirsty Coates, our Head of Operations at Here. Kirsty has worked at Here for 3 years but will move into this new roles when she returns from maternity leave in November.

Helping to continue to deliver outstanding results

Hi, I’m Kirsty, and this is Elsie, my four month old wee girl, (and this is our 17th take of this video) to announce that I’ll be Head of Operations for the organization from November when I get back from maternity leave!

For those that don’t know me, I’ve been in the organisation for nearly three years.

I support our service leads working with the Fusion team across our central services. It’s been a real privilege working with the team and I’m going to miss him terribly, but it will be great to work with them in the new role.

I’m so excited to work with colleagues and our clinical services. I’ve had the pleasure of working with you guys from my current role. And I think it’s just so exciting to be coming back and helping you guys continue to deliver outstanding results, which I think is the real aim of the head of operations role.

It leads really well into my passions and my experience – I’ve always worked in the not-for-profit sector throughout my career. I was in politics for a long time, I was in a think tank tackling social injustice. I’ve been on the board of Brighton Housing Trust, a brilliant charity working with people with complex needs in the city for over six years now.
