Covid 19 Vaccination Centre and Mobile Vaccine Unit – as the main vaccine provider in Brighton and Hove, we deliver Covid 19 vaccinations to eligible cohorts. Primary Care Escalation Framework – The Primary Care Resilience Framework (PCEF) supports the resilience of Primary Care through the development and delivery of Primary Care dashboards, providing visibility of pressures across Sussex, alongside a co-designed response framework for practices that need resilience support.

Primary Care Networks (PCN) Analytics Dashboards – This is a collaboration with Preston Park PCN to create bespoke dashboards for PCNs, enabling them to use their data to understand how best to focus their attention and resources. Current dashboards focus on Care Home Team, First Contact Practitioner Team, Pharmacist Team, and Investment and Impact Fund indicators.

GP Flexi Pools – developing a virtual pool of GPs with the aim of increasing the overall GP workforce in Brighton and Hove that are locally trained, onboarded and connected to the practices, bringing in elements of peer-support and quality monitoring. This enables GPs to explore mechanisms for portfolio employment as well as ensuring equitable practice access to available clinicians.

Targeted Lung Health Checks – we host the care coordination role for PCNs in Brighton and Hove, to alleviate pressures on practices through incidental findings arising from Lung Cancer Screening. This service contributes to the development of a national screening programme for Lung Cancer.

Additional Primary Care for Brighton Urgent Treatment Centre – in partnership with University Hospitals Sussex East, we provide additional Primary Care clinical capacity at the Brighton Urgent Treatment Centre. The purpose of this service is to reduce the impact of Primary Care cases on the emergency department and, through data, build a picture of why people come through Urgent Care pathways. With this data we reconnect people with their GP Practice, where appropriate, with the longer-term aim of reducing unnecessarily emergency department attendances.
