What we do
The service offers routine, pre-bookable appointments on weekday evenings and weekends with a GP or nurse in Brighton & Hove, High Wealds, Lewes & Havens, Eastbourne, Hailsham, Seaford and Bexhill.
Why we do it
So that patients who have difficulty accessing appointments in ‘core’ hours can be seen by a doctor or nurse sooner – often on the same day.
Who we do it for
This service is available for people who use primary healthcare services in any of the areas we cover and are registered to one of our participating surgeries. We provide project support to clinical and administrative staff who work locally to run the service.

When are appointments available?
The service offers routine, pre-bookable appointments with a GP or nurse. Appointments can be booked by calling your surgery and will take place between 18:30-20:30 Monday to Friday and 08:00-14:00 on a Saturday and 10:00 -13:00 Sunday.
This enables patients to be seen sooner, and often on the same day.
Where do appointments happen?
The appointment may be at your own surgery or a GP surgery nearby, this will be confirmed at the time of booking your appointment.
Who is in the service team?
The team at Here work with practice staff to run the service. Clinical and administrative staff from the local area work from the service host site, and the team at Here project manages and organises staffing from our Preston Park office.
